Gold, also called coins in the evolution notes, is the battle and crafting currency. You spend it to place and upgrade units during a match, to pay the 100,000 coin evolution fee, and to buy Light or Dark stones for 75,000 coins. Nightmare clears are reported around 17,000 gold. A 2x Gold pass was seen in shop footage. Its Robux price was not published. Spedwag generates this economy in-match. He does not generate Gems.

Stage clears, Nightmare, and in-match farm units. The hourly shop spends gold. It does not pay gold.
How do you use Gold?
Spend battle gold on Spedwag first, then on the carry that is actually hitting the leak. Do not confuse a gold total with the Gem total you need for a 380-Gem 10-summon.
