This page compares units whose kits were actually published. It is an editorial reading of those kits for early-access stages around the October 2026 release. It is not an official tier list, and it does not rank Zid, Joren, Itoshi, or the Rare and Epic names that have no ability text. Those units are on the unit index without a rank.
The core
| Slot | Unit | Why this slot |
|---|---|---|
| Farm | Spedwag | Only published money unit. Cap of three placements in the Speedwagon notes. |
| Carry | Roger or Sokonu | Roger stuns, bypasses shields, splashes, and gives 10 percent damage to allies in range. Sokonu clears dense waves and opens a Domain. |
| Air and slow | Foji | Hits air and ground. 60 percent Slow for 3 seconds, at most every 6 seconds. |
| Second slow | Megomu | 50 percent Slow and extra damage against slowed enemies. |
| Second damage | Stork or Goju | Stork wants 10 empty studs for Solitude. Goju wants enemies in the inner 40 percent of his range. |
Ishgo is a real damage unit, but the gauge has to fill before Rage, and the crescent hits at most three targets. He is the carry when you already have wave control, not the first unit to solve a leak.
Rules that change placement
- Roger's 10 percent aura does not stack. One Roger is enough.
- Follow-up attacks do not count as basic attacks and do not trigger on-attack effects.
- Damage-over-time percents are the total over the stated duration unless a tick rate is given. Sokonu's Domain is an exception that is written as damage every half-second.
- Hyper Speed helps Stork's every third attack and Goju's every fourth attack. It does not shorten Sokonu's 40-second Domain, Megomu's 30-second Domain, or Stork's 25-second barrage.
- Galactic, if your card matches the one-placement text, goes on one carry only.
What not to upgrade
Published rankings tell you to replace Rares immediately, to treat Gen, Kitzaru, Natzo, and Kizua as temporary Legendaries, and to sell Vegira rather than upgrade it. Those sentences are not accompanied by stats. Follow them as a spending warning, not as a measured power gap. Spedwag is the Epic they tell you to keep.
Compare two units only at the same upgrade level, trait, and stage. A maxed Rare can look stronger than a fresh Mythic for one wave and still be the wrong long-term spend.
